Found this location thanks to BringFido :)
They had outside seating (even if shady) and our waitress met us outside to take our orders (and give our dogs some lovings and treats.)
We ordered our two dogs Fido bowls (probably the main reason I wanted to come here honestly) and they ate them up in minutes. I loved that they had options too so I could bring them with us for more things since this is their vacation as well. - TerryMore than a year agoOutstanding!!!
I cannot say enough great things about this place! It has such a wonderful and friendly staff. The food was delicious. I had chicken supreme and my husband The Mahi BLT. Both our pups had a bow wow burger which was hamburger, egg and brown rice. Like a previous reviewer said, the dogs got water before we did which was much appreciated. We will definitely go here again.

This was our first visit to South Beach Grille and we were delighted. It has fantastic food at reasonable prices. It's a pet friendly restaurant with a pet menu which we loved the idea of. We took both of our dogs, Seamus and Brenna with us sat on the deck with a lovely view. I loved the idea of ordering for our dogs from a pet menu which offered a nice selection. We got the Bow Wow Burgers for them which they scarfed up so fast it was actually amusing. They loved their meal. Both of our meals were also delicious!! We had fish tacos and the marinated chicken with mango sauce and fruit salsa. Absolutely delish and I highly recommend. Also we got so much food that we humans ended up taking doggie bags home. It was a thoroughly enjoyable night with a fantastic hostess and waitress. All of the staff is very friendly. We fully intend to go back again before leaving the OBX!

This was the first time we took pup to a dog friendly restaurant instead of trying to just eat fast food in the car. This place is awesome. Waiter Jacob brought a bowl of water right away. He was really kind to Koa so we decide to order a dog meal off the menu. It looked so good I almost ate it. Chicken and rice I think. Will be back next time we hit the beach.

The restaurant features a unique "doggie menu". Our dog loved the salmon and brown rice entrée.

After reading the reviews we stopped for lunch, what a friendly place. You feel right at home and the food is great! Our pups got some cold treats while we enjoyed the views on their rooftop deck. We will make this our must stop spot for every time we visit in the future!

Thoroughly enjoyed an early dinner this evening with my dog on the deck. Unlike some restaurants where you need to sit at some obscure outside table without a view and away from others, we enjoyed the opportunity to share the scenery with other dog-less guests on the lovely deck with ocean and sound views. The doggie menu is top notch and can't say enough about how exceptional and dog friendly the wait staff is. My waitress even offered to wait with my dog while I used the restroom. Thank you South Beach Grill!

We took a trip to the Outer Banks with our dog Journey, a Weimaraner, for the first time. We researched some restaurants that would allow dogs on the patio and came across South Beach Grille. The personnel was super friendly, the service prompt. They even have menu for dogs. We ordered our food and salmon with rice and carrots for the dog. They also immediately got her a bowl with fresh water. My husband had the fish tacos and I ordered a salad. Everything was delicious and fresh. Our dog finished her meal first and would have gone for seconds. We sat on a covered deck with a nice breeze and really enjoyed our lunch and the dog too. Thank you very much.

Came here because it was the only place we could bring our fur baby after daylight for dinner in OBX! Amazing service, wide variety of food, very accommodating! And awesome DOG MENU!!!! Very pleased pet owner here!

October 2015. The people-food was fair. The doggie-food was fantastic. My pup very much enjoyed the Fido's Fried Rice (served in a special safari-themed bowl) and the multiple water bowl refills. The staff are very welcoming of dogs.

On a fish kick, so I had the blackened tuna, wife had the cedar-planked salmon. Sides weren't as good as the main course. The dog liked it all.
