  I stood half-inside the door to talk to the hostess, who told me to pick my table on the patio. The patio had lots of umbrellas for shade; I chose a picnic table with an umbrella and my dogs went right under it. The waitress offered them a cup of water right away, and when I ordered for myself she told me of the dog menu. I asked if she could take one portion of the beef-and-rice and split it in 2, and she said she could. The dogs enjoyed their dinner and I loved their clam chowder--so flavorful and creamy it beats Splash Cafe's. Oh, yes I did. :D Come bring your mutts and try for yourself.

  Welcoming location

  The custom house has an amazing patio facing the ocean and is totally dog friendly! They even have a dog menu! We stumbled upon this spot after striking out at another non dog friendly restaurant. Our food was great, the service was great, our dog enjoyed two hot dogs off the pup menu. We only live 30 minutes from here and will definitely be back!

  Very Dog Friendly

  They welcomed our boy with a puppy patty. Very nice to-go setup with available tables outside to eat at due to pandemic.

  Large dog patio

  Restaurant has a very large dog friendly patio along the boarwalk. Has heaters although we didnt need them. They brought us water bowl and have a dog menu if you ask. They even have a dog dessert of peanut butter ice cream. Food and drink choices were plenty and food was tasty.

  Great Food, Welcoming To Our Puppy

  We love the Custom House and have been there for breakfast, lunch, cocktail hour and dinner. The food is wonderful with a full selection of wines. This was the first time we had brought our 10 week old puppy with us. After we were seated outside, they brought us water and a bowl of water for the puppy (without asking). The service was excellent, as was the food. 5 bones!

  They have lots of tables outside and a view of the water. The food isn't too bad, too.

  You have to love a place that has a special menu for the dogs!!! People food was good too!!

  Very good food and even had a dog menu!

  Service was very quick. Dogs are welcomed on the patio. They have water dishes, if needed. Tables have good separation from each other, which provides privacy and accommodation for multiple dogs on the patio area.

  There are heaters for when weather gets cold and shade canopies.

  Food was very good and service was outstanding.

  Nice dog friendly restaurant. Excellent food. Patio seating. Very accommodating. There were 6 dogs in the patio when we were there.
