Excellent food and plenty of outdoor seating for pups

We had a delicious lunch here recently and were so glad we could bring our two small dogs. They have quite a few outdoor tables. Great menu and drinks also pretty close to the beach.

    great lunch

We drove down for an overnight visit and used 'bring Fido' to find somewhere to have lunch with two dogs. The staff was so friendly and provided the dogs with a bowl of ice water and treats as they seated us. The food was very good and the dogs relaxed at the table as we ate. (They liked the French fries too!). We will definitely come back the next time we are in town. Thank you for being so accommodating!

    Fantastic

My fiancé and I arrived with our dog and were warmly greeted. Having just gotten engaged the manager sent complementary champagne for us and a water bowl and treats for the pooch. The food was great, I work as a chef and I can say the grouper Linda was exquisite! My fiancé had the seafood lasagna which was great and a huge portion. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this place, with or without a dog, a very well run establishment.

    First impression

Had to wait about 15 minutes, but the wait was well worth it. Not only the service was great, the food was awesome as well. Our little minature dachshund had a great time resting under the table while we ate, and no one cared. We will go back for sure.

    Awesome Food and Great Staff

I was in Wilmington for a dock diving competition with my dog and my Mother. We were looking for dog friendly places and that had seafood. We drove from Leland to Wrightville just because this resturant said they will take dogs on the patio. Sure enough they did. Nutley, my dog was really good and the wait staff loved him. One waitress offered to dog sit if we were ever back at Wrightville. Plus the food was sooooooo good. It was a little crazy because it was graduation weekend but it was so worth the wait.

    First Day @ the Beach

I currently live in North Carolina and My kids came down for their spring break - we took my 6 mo old Lab to the beach for the first time and wanted to grab a bite at a pet friendly place- we found the grill and it was great- everyone on the staff was friendly n welcoming- the food was great and good overall atmosphere - only real dowside was the parking- very small parking lot- otherwise great end to a day @ the beach

    Our Favorite Wrightsville Resturant

When we called on 7/30/11 we were told that yes, dogs were very welcome on the patio (which is totally covered and has ceiling fans now). When we arrived, there was a short wait and the hostess asked if Roscoe (our Golden mixed) needed some water while we waited. After we were seated, not only did the wait staff make sure that we were well taken care of, they made special mention of Roscoe and asked if he was doing okay. The manager even came by to check on him. South Beach was already our favorite resutrant in Wrightsville Beach before we got our dog. It is now even better. We can't recommend it highly enough.

    Nice Place

This is a great place to take the dogs and relax. The waitstaff was very nice and the food was good. My only complaint (for the dogs) was that the patio area is gravel and it is hard on them being large (100lb and 65lb) indoor dogs. But, with that said, the dogs can't wait to go back for more fries.

One of the best restaurants in the Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach area. Great food, great atmosphere, friendly service!
