    Great time

we enjoyed our dinner with our fur babies. I liked the menu selection. we chose the chicken entree for both of ours. I will say we put ice in it to cool down it was quite hot when it arrived but they really enjoyed it and ate it all.
the human menu was delicious as well. salmon and lamb chops were delicious and we started with the strawberry pecan salad very good.

    Nothing special

For the two legged guests: The menu reads as sumptuous continental fare. What was actually served was mostly mediocre. We ordered entree salads, the lobster bisque, the cheeseburger and the sandwich du jour and in short, it was all just kind of ‘meh’.

For the four legged guests: we chose this spot because of the doggy menu, which is cute, but not extensive. We ordered our baby the biscuit du jour as his started and the steak tar tar as his entree. The first problem was the biscuit. The menu states it’s 4 for $2.50. We got one and we’re not given any to go. The second and larger problem was with the steak tar tar. To start, what was actually brought to the table was apparently the filet which is more than double the cost of the tar tar, but even more concerning than that Is it was delivered with a HUGE fish bone right on top. Had the server not advised it was a little warm, prompting me to leave it on the table for a moment, I wouldn’t have seen it and our baby could have been seriously injured.

Additionally, the service was just abysmal. Our server seemed to be on her first day, the ONLY thing she did well was to make sure of soft drinks were refilled promptly.

Final thoughts: there are way too many other dog friendly restaurants in the Sarasota area for me to recommend this place for people, OR pets. To say I was less than impressed would be an understatement.

    A Treat for All

This restaurant sets the bar high for dog-friendly eateries! First, the doggie menu is adorable. I was so excited that I sat down before I even looked at the dining menu for my meal - lol. Second, the hostess, waitstaff, and manager were genuinely friendly, as well as prompt and attentive. Third, the food was spectacular! Avocado stuffed with crab salad followed by apple pie for me, and grilled chicken with carrots for the pup... Overall, it was a great experience and perfect capstone to a work trip! If I'm in the area again, I'll be going back!

Classy Joint for Humans and Dogs Alike!

This casual, yet classy, indoor/outdoor restaurant is so dog friendly that Jax had a dog treat and bowl of water before bread even hit the table! Everyone from the servers to the other patrons were clearly dog lovers and Jax was loving all the king treatment. The best part was that they even had a dog only menu! He was treated to a refreshing Dogsters Ice Cream dessert for being such a good boy. We highly recommend this restaurant for humans and their fur babies!
