  Best dog “patio” ever, great service, delicious food ~ so glad we went to Idyllwild and celebrated my birthday at Café Aroma!

  Best outdoor spot in Idyllwild

  Took my dog to Idyllwild for two days for his birthday. We ate at Cafe Aroma for dinner and loved the outdoor space. Comfortable, warm in the midst of cold rain, and enclosed! Great food also. Dog thought so too.

  What happened to the service?

  Was back at the Cafe Aroma this past weekend and ate there twice. Both times the wait-person never refilled our drinks. Menu items were described really inaccurately and service was extraordinarily slow - and it wasn't even that busy. This is really disappointing since we had such a nice time there just last month.

  A Nice Place to Brunch

  I found the shaded, truly dog-friendly patio inviting, with lots of nooks and crannies to keep your K9 companion out from under foot of the staff. The staff was attentive, the food was pretty good. Overall a great place for a meal if you and your dog find yourselves in Idyllwild. I will definitely return!
