  Cute, so dog friendly and delicious

  Location is great. Food is delicious and pretty quick to come out, given we got here around 8:30 am for breakfast. plenty of entrees to choose on the menu and reasonably priced. Milo (our dog) loved it here. There are a lot of black birds he was interested in. We will definitely be back.

  Great food, loves dogs

  Delicious curry tuna sandwich and bacon cheddar burger for early dinner on the patio. Pet water dish on shaded enclosed patio was a delight.

  Great Lunch spot

  This is a great spot to stop and enjoy a delicious salad and sandwhich along with quenching cold IPA. The patio is fine for your pet, though lots of birds hanging around which distracted our dog. Overall the food is delicious. The staff is friendly. The patio is fine. I would definitely go back.

  They’ll Treat You Right!

  The Mosquito Cafe never disappoints! Great food, huge outdoor patio, and they’ll bring your pups a bowl of water. Several pup owners were present. You can tell it’s a local favorite. Definitely should be on your list of favorites too!

  Loved our experience here!

  We had the best brunch at Mosquito Cafe. The food was outstanding and the patio was perfect for our puppy. There was plenty of space between the tables so she was able to settling on her mat and relax. Everyone was super nice and a truly enjoyable experience.

  Awesome Place

  Loved this place! They are very dog friendly and even brought out a water bowl for the dog. You have to take the dog inside with you to order and then they bring your food out to you on the patio. The food was delicious and not a long wait! Will visit again and again!

  Love this place!

  Outside patio is beautiful and well shaded. Water bowls were brought out for my old German Shepherd as well.

  Cozy patio and great food

  We enjoyed the enclosed patio with our dog. We had a corner where he could watch people walking down the street. We were impressed with the menu. I had the gluten-free grilled shrimp tacos with BBQ beans and rice. My honey had the plain 'ole burger. They have local craft beer, wine, and several kinds of mimosas. We might go back for breakfast today!

  Wouldn’t go again.

  My husband and I were very hungry after a long time at the beach. We have two larger dogs and the patio was pretty empty so we thought it would be a good stop. Wrong. The patio was covered in old food under the tables and birds since there were three tables that needed to be cleaned, the staff was not friendly, bathrooms not clean, and the food sub-par. Made us feel as though we were an inconvenience for them!
  - only plus was that there was enough room for the dogs.

  Awesome Spot!

  Best spot we’ve eaten so far in Galveston! Awesome patio space for our little girl (German Shepherd). Brought out a bowl of water for her and the food was excellent!

  Cute Little Patio - Dog Friendly

  Cute Little Patio - very Dog Friendly. You do need to go inside to order but they bring your food to your table when ready. Food is DELICIOUS, VERY FRESH and the portions are HUGE. I ordered 2 orders of kids pancakes one for each kiddo but they easily could have shared them. BEST PANCAKES ever!!

  Great Food And Very Friendly

  The patio is very nice. They immediately brought our little dog a bowl of water. Food is really good. The Staff is very friendly. We would definitely recommend checking out Mosquito Cafe.

  Nice Lunner Stop

  We totally enjoyed Mosquito Cafe’s outdoor patio on a sunny November day. We checked inside first to make sure dogs were still welcome and were warmly greeted. Placed our order inside and they quickly brought our coonhound a nice fresh bowl of water. Our food arrived promptly and was as tasty as it was beautiful.

  Very friendly

  They brought ice cold water in separate bowls for each of our two dogs.
  Orders are made inside. So, they brought the menus to us. There were several other dogs dining on the patio on this busy Saturday evening.
  The food was great as well. We had the goat cheese medallions as an appetizer. He had the shrimp tacos.I has the shrimp Mosquito Caesar salad.

  We sat on the patio on a Friday afternoon in the middle of the summer heat. We waited 20 minutes, and no one came by to greet us or offer us a menu. We left.

  Amazing food and friendly staff!

  Me and my fiancé went here for breakfast everyday we were here. The food was phenomenal and the wait staff are so friendly. Upon arrival we told them we would be sitting outside because we had our dog and they immediately brought out a bowl for our pup. 10/10 would recommend this place!

  I used to live a couple of blocks away and loved to walk our big dog over and sit on their patio. The staff are always friendly and the food is superb! It can get really busy but what do you expect with good food!?!

  great food, great pup service, great place

  Went here recently with my pup. Everyone was super friendly to my dog and greeted him with water when we first arrived. Nice enclosed outdoor patio. And the food was delicious. Everything was fresh and promptly brought to us.

  We were able to enjoy lunch with our chi, Cami, thanks to the dog friendly pretty outdoor eating area. The food was fresh and really good. This place has quite a following since there was a large lunch crowd.

  Disorganized and not good for large dogs

  We stopped by on a Saturday night and yes we expected to wait. Not only do they not have a sign that tells you there is no hostess and that you haave to order somewehre inside but you have to first try to get through a great deal of waiting customers first to find that out. Plus if you have a big dog you would have to get through people just to get a menu. We left .

  Staff VERY friendly

  Our experience was completely different from the last reviewer. We enjoyed attentive service from all the staff, and good food. I had grilled fish with salad and noodles. It was good. My dogs got a bowl of fresh water. When the rain started the staff came and helped us under the porch! We all had a laugh.

  Rude

  Well, to start off my wife and children went in to order our meals and was greeted by a heavy set Caucasian girl that was unfriendly and downright rude. This was around 2pm on Saturday June 8, 2013. We sat outside as we had our puppy with us. The tables (all of them) were filthy. There were large amounts of flies everywhere, crows eating off dishes that had been left on tables. My food was cold. It was overall a horrible experience. I would not recommend this place and will never return. I will also tell all of my friends how rude the staff was. Oh, and the prices were very high.

  Cute Fun and Delicious

  We were visiting Galveston for the weekend and asked our Bed and Breakfast where the best place to eat would be and they quickly responded with Mosquito Cafe. Both my husband and I were delighted by the unique foods that they had to offer. They also had a beautiful outdoor patio for our dogs. There were bowls for water already there as well. Everyone was extremely friendly and the food was wonderful. I would highly recommend this to everyone!
