      Wasabi was here #1

      Dined here with our ~ 11y.o. pug, Wasabi on a Friday evening, seated at a well appointed, largely enclosed dining area on front patio, which has extensive artificial turf under the tables, a better dog seating surface by far than most. Greeted by Andrew, a charming ex-New Yorker with a predilection for canines. Wasabi was promptly offered a plastic bowl of water. The staff and other patio diners generally fawned over Wasabi, and/ or inquired after his age. and we felt welcomed. The fare is pretty gourmet, and there is no dog menu or sense that food for the dog himself would be available, but as Wasabi is on a bit of a diet, had already eaten, and received several treats throughout the evening we did not make any request in that vein either. All in all a very pleasant experience with a small well behaved dog.
