The lunch menu features lighter fare like soups, salads, and sandwiches. At dinner, choose from wok-charred ahi tuna, macadamia-nut crusted mahi mahi, waipo taro enchiladas, Kahua Ranch lamb, or Hawaiian butcher's cut filet of beef. Save room for a cup of French-pressed Kona coffee and a sampler of three Merriman's delectable desserts. Indulge yourself with the coconut creme brulee, the molten chocolate purse with Tahitian vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce, and the buttery pineapple-strawberry crisp. Merriman's is open daily from 11:30am until 9pm. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Red Water Cafe serves sushi, salads, fresh seafood, and grilled meats, most of which are prepared with organic foods from local farms. Menu items include guava-braised boneless short rib served on a bed of mustard cabbage and onions and finished with wasabi and tomatoes, lillikoi chicken yellow curry, house-smoked Berkshire pork kabobs, and seared ahi. The cafe also hosts a popular happy hour with specials on their herb-inspired cocktails and pupus available from 5pm - 6pm everyday that they are open. Red Water Cafe is open Monday - Saturday from 3pm until 11pm. Reservations are accepted.

Healthways II is a natural foods market with a small cafe selling salads, smoothies, and sandwiches that can be eaten at a few dog-friendly outdoor tables. Dogs are not allowed inside the health food store while you pick up your food, so you'll need to tie him up or take turns ordering with a friend. Heathways II is open daily.
