The pet’s health book must be presented for inspection at check-in and the pet must have the required ID microchip. International travelers will also need to present a pet passport. Pets are not allowed on flights to/from Düsseldorf and to London Gatwick Airport.

Cats and dogs are welcome in the cabin on Aegean flights if the combined weight of the pet and carrier is under 17 lbs (8 kg). Each passenger can travel with 1 pet. Pets must be safely stowed underneath the seat in front of you during the entire flight. The fee for pets traveling in the cabin is 30 EUR on domestic flights and 60 EUR on international flights.

Pets that do not meet restrictions for traveling in the cabin can be transported in the hold if the combined weight of pets and carriers is less than 70 lbs (32 kg). The fee for medium pets who weigh between 17 - 55 lbs (8 - 25 kg) with carrier on domestic flights is 50 EUR direct and 55 EUR connecting and on international flights is 110 EUR direct and 120 EUR connecting. The fee for large pets who weigh over 55 lbs (25 kg) with carrier on domestic flights is 90 EUR direct and 95 connecting and on international flights is 180 EUR direct and 190 EUR connecting.

For pets being transported in the cabin, carriers must be no larger than 21" x 15" x 8" (55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm). The Aegean representative at your chosen airport will provide you with an appropriate carrier if you don't bring your own. For pets traveling in the hold that are 8 lbs (4 kg) and under, the carrier should not exceed 23" x 17" x 15" (60 cm x 45 cm x 40 cm); animals that are 13 lbs (6 kg) and under, the dimensions should not exceed 31" x 21" x 21" (80 cm x 55 cm x 55 cm); 28 lbs (13 kg) and under, the dimensions should not exceed 39" x 25" x 27" (100 cm x 65 cm x 70 cm); and 48 lbs (22 kg) and under, the dimensions should not exceed 50" x 30" x 33" (125 cm x 75 cm x 85 cm).
