Mammoth Mountain Scenic Gondola

During the summer, travel to the summit on the dog-friendly Mammoth Mountain Scenic Gondola in Mammoth Lakes, CA. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome to travel up the mountain on the gondola. Once on top, you can explore the mountain with your leashed pet on one of the many scenic hiking trails. Enjoy a view of the surrounding mountains from over 11,000 feet above sea level. Not much to do
the staff was not knowledgeable of the fact that pets can use the gondola during summer, literally kept getting harassed that they’re not service dogs.
once you reach the summit the dogs are not allowed on the snow or anywhere in the building..

So fun but please read review for important info!
If your dog is easily anxious, afraid of moving things (like elevators or escalators), or sensitive to small spaces then I DO NOT recommend. My husky had a great time. The views are absolutely beautiful. It is a scary ride. I mean you’re going up to over 11k feet so be prepared for how high you are.
