  Convenient location

  Smaller than we expected but super convenient location if you’re looking for a place to let your dog release some energy during a long road trip. Parking right near by but you do have to pay.

  Clean, friendly, convenient

  We were passing through Knoxville on a road trip with our three pups. Stopped at this dog park as it was just off the highway.

  The park was large, separate large and small dog areas. No “doggo land mines” that we saw or had to pick up from others. There were a handful of other dogs there and the owners were attentive and friendly.

  Good, not great

  This park is easily the most convenient, so I take my dog to this one almost every day.
  It's big enough for him to run, the biggest problem is that it's mostly small gravel, so he doesn't always want to run on it.
  The city takes a long time to turn the water back on for the fountains, so the dogs are always thirsty and not everyone brings a water bottle for their dogs.
  Also sometimes the homeless population likes to come sit on the benches, one time I was there alone and a man came and started barking at my dog.

  Okay, but not the greatest

  Pretty small, the large dog area tends to be nothing but dirt, and there are tons of old, possibly disease-ridden tennis balls hanging around. That being said, I'm grateful that there is a place like this downtown.
