    Messy/muddy areas

The marsh smells exactly as you would expect and after an hour there my pup's little legs were coated in dark brown smelly mud. We rinsed her paws off 4 times before getting in the car, but the smell persisted until a real bath. There is no place for the dogs to swim and rinse off the muck. Limited free parking spaces were available, as was a water fountain and restrooms. Would be good for taking a dog for a run if kept out of marsh.

Lovely views of the Bay Area

Pretty strict about leash law but otherwise a nice hilly or marsh walk depending on which way you go. Lots of open space and wildlife (egrets to jack rabbits) for the dogs to enjoy. Lots of walkers, joggers, and bikers can be busy on weekends.
    Restrooms available, limited parking.
