    Unexpected great park

Dogs loved this park, the small dog park is really small and there is no water available for the dogs, however right next to it, almost seemingly hidden, is the large dog park. This is by far the nicer of the two. It is very large and has more shading and more seating with a Pavillion to provide shade and there is a hose for fresh water (not sure if it's winterized, I visited in september). There isn't much grass, but the area is very spacious with lots of trees.

Some areas are VERY steep, somewhat nerve wracking coming down if you've gone up. The owner clean up was moderate. I always anticipate to see some dog piles not cleaned up at any park, but this was slightly worse than just a few.

There is no shaded parking which stinks.

Overall, worth a visit if you're in the area, pretty well frequented when I went.

    Big dog park

It’s a large fully fenced park with a few short hiking trails. Unfortunately some owners don’t pick up after their dogs. It was quite dry & dusty. No grass.

    Lots of room to roam

Up the hill to grassy field, or onward up the hill to trails. Not all dog doors is picked up in the lesser used areas. My dog loved chasing her ball there.

    Huge!

My dogs had so much fun playing and running up the sloped mountain. Every owner that I spoke with was friendly and were watching their dogs attentively. So glad to have found this park for my 2 girls to play at

    GREAT!!

Thus dog park is exactly what my dog, Ford needs to release some energy. Every other dog there was friendly and their owners too! Definitely made some new friends, both of us! So many trails to run on and the place is huge. There are toys all over and ever water for your dog to drink. It really is a great sog park! Ford and I will be back every week!

    Wonderful Find In Spokane

After a long days drive, this park was a godsend. It was a distance from downtown but worth it. we went In late afternoon and the park did not have many people or dogs. Great area for dogs to roam and run with a nice view of the river. Bikers were also around but did not interfere with the dogs. would have been nice to take our dinner to eat while we were there but didn't plan ahead in time. Highly recommend this little jewel.

Go there. You will be amazed.

Been going there since summer 2013. Fun every time. Diversity in dogs. Lots of locals and tons of first timers, and dogs just passing through town. Always some rescue dogs learning the ropes. BIG area that includes open area, hills with trees, picnic tables (which the dogs own), and easy conversation if you want it with others, or stand back and just watch. Please don't take food or treats. My dog finds them in a second and becomes your best (worst) friend. Fully fenced, no concerns, let them run. They disappear into the woods for a while, then they are back. Parking is easy. River is across the street with easy access to the Spokane River (on leash only, it's dangerous to swim) if your dog wants to get its feet wet. Go there. Enjoy. Donate if you like it.

    Fun Park

This is a great place to take your dog, fully fenced large area. There is an area for small dogs as well as big. I would give five bones but water has yet to be installed. so in other words PLEASE BRING WATER!
