    Excellent!

We visited both Fort Michilimackinac at Mackinaw City and Fort Mackinac on Mackinac Island. Both were incredibly pet friendly. I asked at the ticket booth at both locations, and pets were welcome in all buildings in both Forts. Well behaved dogs on leash are welcome in buildings. Beware of Rifle and cannon demonstrations and the noise level, but our pup didn’t mind them. Several staff went out of their way to come pet and welcome our pup!

    pet friendly

Defiantly a must see for first time visitors. Provides excellent history of old fort that once stood on site. Continually being excavated. Very pet friendly. We've taken or corgi in her pet stroller. No additional fee for pets.
