20-30 mph wind gusts made experience awful
This is not the beach to visit on a windy day. The bluffs adjacent to it are so tall you have no area to escape sand whipping you and your dog in the face when you turn to head back to parking area. I was lucky I brought doggles for my dog or his eyes could have been seriously hurt. At one point, the wind slapped me in the face with sand. Just one of the worse beach experiences my dog and I have ever had. Do not go there on a day with wind gusts above 20mph!

Great area!
Beautiful area with lots of sea life. Very dog friendly.
