    Terrible!!

Corner lot.. yeah a sand lot near a busy intersection. Skidaway Island State Park was a short drive away, and much more friendly trails

Do not bring your dog here!!

This should not even be included here. We got out of the car and walked 5 feet on the trail and noticed the sign that dogs are not allowed!!

    Really not for dogs

This is a nice walking /biking/running park for humans only. Your dog is only allowed in a small strip away from picnic/ playground areas. The dog area is too close to a very busy road for most dogs to be happy. I would give this place a zero but that was not an option.

    Poop

To add to what Linda said, other people who visit the park with their dogs do not feel the need to pick up after their dogs. I let my dog out of the car for exactly 6 seconds and we left. Dog poop all over the so-called exercise area. It's a really nice park for people and children; for dogs - not so much.

    Not a Dog Park

Lake Mayer only allows dogs to be in one area of the whole park. The dogs are not allowed on the trail or inside the park where the picnic area is located. They are allowed in a corner of the park where it is open and close to the busy intersection. The area consists of patches of grass but mostly dirt. I do not recommend going here with your dog.
