  Worst dog park I’ve been to

  This place is beautiful but it’s so large people do not watch their animals and the rangers that come help are not trained in dog behavior and put our dogs in danger by allowing aggressive dogs in and not handling situations properly when it’s not aggressive. DONT recommend. Go to good dog instead

  Pleasantly Surprised

  Wasn't sure what to expect when we took our Quincy to this park. The typical southern dog park is usually just a rectangular field in a bad location. This was such a pleasant surprise! We loved the paved walkway, kept us moving along with our pup. We liked that there were three choices of fenced area. We have a 30lb mini Bernedoodle and sometimes he feels more comfortable in the small dog area. There were big lush trees for shade in part of the park. Plenty of sitting areas with covers. The 3rd area had an agility course, which we will have to try next time we are there. Excellent dog park! Highly recommended!

  One of the only dog parks in Tuscaloosa, but it is extremely nice. I bring my dog there 4-5 times a week and have been for 3 years now. I have never had a bad experience and have met some great people there as well. There is a negative review on here about a bad experience someone has had, but as dog owners we have to watch our dogs anywhere we take them and be responsible. This is a great location and has so much running room. There is water and a shady place to sit while your dogs run around.

  Great Park

  Clean with walking track for my owner. Training area so I could do my homework. A small dog area for my little brother and of course a big dog area like myself. The entire area has hiking trails, kid playground, and ball fields....and water! Just in case your owner forgets! Some parks don’t have water during winter months.

  Worth The Trip

  This is an excellent place. 3 separate large fenced areas. The areas are very grassy, have nice places for people to sit in the shade. We were on a 3 day road trip with our dog. This made a great stop.

  The park is nice, and usually clean. There are a lot of owners who use the dog park as a social hour and ignore their dogs. Weird cliques from the owners and make it very weird to enjoy. Good park if you’re wanting to enjoy time with your pet, but you have to watch your animal, because no one else is watching theirs. I’ve had my dog bitten too hard a few times, I go back bc it’s the only dog park near me.

  Nice park with potential.

  This park has three separate parks. One for small dogs, one for large dogs, and one for training. Each side is a beautiful, shaded area! However; when we go there are always large dogs in the small park and vice versa. We always see poop everywhere. There are many friendly dogs, but sometimes you do see a few bad pooches. I have seen one fight between two dogs and have heard about others from multiple people. I'm not sure if people understand "dog park etiquette" or if they simply do not care. Hopefully, there might be more enforced rules in the future about the cleanliness.

  Loved this god park! So many nice people and so much room for the dogs to run around in of leash. There's a little dog fountain where you can pour your dog some fresh cold water for when they get tired

  Great social area

  Sokol park is a great place to go and let your dogs run. Large dog fenced in area and small dog fenced in area. Both are quite spacious and have ample seating and a track. I only wish there were things to do for dogs who bore easily or if there aren't any other pets there.

  Great park!

  This was a wonderful find! There was plenty of shade, seating area, and fresh water source in the big fenced in small dog area. The big dog are is large as well.
