Olympia, WAs Evergreen State College campus includes an extensive network of pet-friendly trails leading to the school's Organic Farm, unspoiled forested areas and a beach on the Puget Sound. Leashed dogs are welcome to join their owners around the forest and frolicking on the beach.

most people let their dogs off leash on the beaches, some folks even do it on the trails. You’re often closer to roads than you think - which is nice for the quiet, but can be a little dangerous for off leash dogs or small children
