This could be a great stop—it’s bigger than most other travel yards and has a nice fence with double doors. BUT, as the previous review noted, there is a LOT of poop. I picked up 4 full bags worth and still managed to step in some. We were on the last 3 hours of vacation, though, so everything was going in the wash, but you probably want some wet naps or doggy wipes for their feet if you have a ways to go. The bag station was full of bags, so there’s no excuse.

We read the reviews and were excited to stop at this dog park on our drive from PA to florida and let the dogs stretch their legs. However, the place was a huge let down. First, it is COVERED in poop. Poop everywhere. It was like a mine field. I couldn’t let the dogs off the leash because I was afraid they would step in it or eat it. Then my guy pooped and I learned why there is poop everywhere. Their poop bag dispenser is broken. Luckily I had my own bag and picked up after my dogs. A few dogs came in while we were there and none of their owners picked up after them. The other downside was the grass was badly in need of being cut. There were weeds and dandelions everywhere. My little guy is low to the ground and his face was covered in pollen. He started gagging and actually threw up from getting it in his nose. I had to wipe the puke off his face and carry him out. Awful waste of time. They would have been better off in the car until we got to our destination.

Ok so this obviously is not the most sophisticated dog “park,” but when you’re in the car for hours it is an excellent place to stretch out Fido’s legs. I’m very impressed that a travel center has a decent area like this.

Such a cute little dog area at a frequented stop. Got to meet some other dogs and interact a little bit. Great break from a long time in the car for my little pup.

Nice clean fenced dog park. Has benches for the humans and a grass area for the dogs. There is a fire hydrant in the middle of the grass area that makes a great marking spot. Poop bags available to keep park clean.

We stopped for the night in this area and it was great to be able to let Charlie roam around off leash for a few minutes in the middle of such a long road trip! People were good about picking up after their pets and they had bags in case you forgot yours. Awesome place. And I was able to do all of this while enjoying some starbucks coffee!
