    Great Trail

We are lucky to live near the Stones River Greenway trailhead, it’s one of of favorites. Paved and shady for an easy walk, water fountain near the entrance, easy to find, plenty of parking, dog parks near by.

    Awesome Trails For Dogs

At their very entrance of the trails there’s a dog park and then next to the dog park is miles of gorgeous paved trails with beautiful scenery. We went with our two dogs on a Friday around noon and there were hardly any people on the trail. There’s also a doggy drinking fountain after coming back from the trails by the dog park. Would highly recommend for the fur legged friends!

Value add that there is a large dog park at the entrance of the trail. My small dog enjoyed the 3 mile round trip on the mostly shady trail. Lots of joggers, walkers, and bikers use the trail so keep that in mind if your dov is distractable. Take water as there are no water fountains on the trail.
