Michael Faklis Park Dog Area

Pet-friendly Michael Faklis Park has a special off-leash area dedicated to dogs. This park is located off of I-5 and Eight Mile Road in Spanos Park West, near the Spanos Park West Shopping Center. The dog area is towards the back side of the park near the baseball diamond and features two sections for large and small pups with double gates, dog and human water fountains, and picnic benches. The park consists of a grassy lawn with good draining soil making it suitable for year-round play. Visit Website

Great Quite Park
This is a hidden gem, so many people don't know about it yet. It's been there for at least 2 years, but few owners/dogs are ever present at one time. The dog area is a bit hidden, and parking isn't close (I suggest the street near the tennis courts). There isn't much shade yet, the trees are still growing. The park is right up against the levy so if you have a dog that likes to "run the fence" they're likely to get lots of exercise this way. Other dogs are very friendly and owners are curious and responsible.
