    Easy Dog Friendly Hiking

Right in the center of the city of Carmel is this hidden gem. Plenty of easy hiking trails, short but they wind around on each other to make the hike as short or long as you wish with many variations. There are some hills, but they are short with easy grades. We came across friendly people, mostly locals, walking their own dogs while maintaining distance as needed. The end of the trail where the Carmel Mission is has very little parking. We were fortunate to park at one of the other locations.

Get some Peace of Mind while your pup explores

This place is great. Beautiful woodsy scenery, lots of birds and squirrels. Quiet and not too busy. You will see a few other people during the week (I haven't been on a weekend yet) running or walking their dogs. They have pup poop bags at the entrances and trash cans located throughout the park. There are benches to sit and rest while your dog can sniff around and explore their surroundings.
