    Beautiful

We took our German shepherd Britta on a walking tour of this amazing estate. Beautiful piece of conservation and history. Fresh water at multiple spots.
The Live Oak road is awe inspiring. Wear good shoes

    Great location!

We loved visiting Wormsloe. It was super hot the day we visited so we went early in the morning and elected not to do the long hikes to make sure my fur babies were not overheated. We had a great time. Met a volunteer that showed us all kinds of things that were done in the “colonial gardens”. It was wonderful! He showed us how plantings were done and all kinds of vegetables that they were growing. Plenty of places to stop and give the babies some water and sit to cool off. Very shaded area and really nice trails. Highly recommend this site.

    Must see!

Gorgeous park and super pet friendly. We took our little Goose here and it was nice and shaded. The drive in was gorgeous. The trail is relatively short so it would be great for dogs that get tired easily. It was also mostly shaded. Be sure to bring water for your dog, as they do not have water access for pups. Parking can be a challenge during peak times.

    Not that much to see

Beautiful oaks on the driveway up to the small museum and giftshop. A couple of shorter trails taking you to see a grave and ruins of what used to be a house. One longer trail. The museum does not really have any objects, just signs with text about the owners of this place. The museum was very small. We had expected something more for the 10$ per person(plus tax) paid. But indeed no problem to bring your dog on the trails.

    Barney goes to Wormsloe

This is worth a stop. The beautiful Oaks are worthy of the entrance fee. Barney was welcome everywhere. He scored some dog treats and pets from employees and was allowed to watch the film and explore the museum.

    Save your $$

At $10. PER PERSON!! Not anything more to see than what you can get at the State parks for FREE!! Very disappointing you can't even see the manor house.

    Very Dog Friendly

Very dog friendly site. when you first pull in you park and get out just to purchase tickets. then you drive down the tree lined road to a parking area. we walked for about two hours through all the trails. there was dog bowls with running water near the blacksmith area. Cost is $10. I was alone with my dog so I’m not sure if that’s per person or per vehicle.

    Pitbull Friendly

The man at the entrance gate said “We encourage dogs” and told us to stop by the visitor center for a dog treat... our pitbull loved it! Beautiful sites as well.

    They love dogs!

Beautiful park with miles of walking trails that wander through the woods and along the river/marsh. The rangers have dogs and love dog and human visitors. They give guided tours of the historic area. Trails are shaded all day and cooler for dog walking.

    Calming walk

Beautiful and historic walk. Be sure to explore some of the offshoots of the main trails. We got a beautiful view of the marsh on one of these off shoots.

    Beautiful

I originally planned on spending a day out at the estate but plans got changed and I ended up running out there about 2 hours before it closed. It was still worth the $10 admission fee. Just absolutely gorgeous grounds and dogs welcome on all of the trails. I explored what a I could with my chocolate lab and it was very enjoyable. Definitely worth the admission and the short drive from historic downtown.

This is a grade A dog boner Haven!!

Wow! What a great place for dogs. Scooter (my 2 year old Chinese Crested) and I came here last week. It was sunny and the rays were shining through the canopy of live oaks (I call them love oaks because I love them so much!!). It was beautiful. The walk would have been quite long for Scooter but now ever since the accident and with Scooter's new wheels it was fine. Scooter had both his back legs broken so now he has a MRD system to help support his back legs with wheels. Overall, the staff was friendly and accepted Scooter even though he is a little different. I think Scooter would agree when I say it was a 5 boner day:)
