  quite a lovely venue i must say

  i brought my pet fox up there 1 time lol it was funny to see people's reaction, I'm glad she didn't murder anybody that day, also its a great park!

  Charlie gives it a 5/5

  I drove an hour and a half to get there this morning. Came to Tennessee for vacation, Charlie has been without running freedom for five days. The park was large, the wooded area was a big plus (Charlie loves to run in the woods). She wore herself out, dogs in and out of the park. Some sociable, some not as much. Charlie had a blast!!! Trying to work in plans to go back before we have to go home. Yes, it needs some TLC but there was water, shade, benches and plenty of room. And woods she could run freely in.

  Great place to let the pup explore

  Very nice shaded dog park but the real gem is the fenced in hiking path. Our dog loved to run and explore while we walked around the shaded trail. We will definitely be back!

  Most of the reviews are on point. Wonderful dog park area and the additional wildlife path is a great bonus! My dogs loved running the trail through the woods and spotting and treeing squirrels. Wish we had these kinds of dog parks back home in Illinois.

  Wonderful!

  This is a great dog park. Had one large section with benches. But don't stop there. Across the park is another gate that leads to a fenced wooded area with a Trail approximately 1/3 of a mile. The dogs loved running through the wooded area with sightings of squirrels. Wish we had a place like this closer to home.

  Good but run down

  Pretty good park that is a little run down. The hiking trail is great and a much needed distraction for dogs that become to excited or aggressive. The grounds are a little dirt heavy but the dogs don't care - they have fun and have plenty of room to run wild. The only problem I have are the people that frequent this park. I've had a few bad experiences with owners that allow hyper aggressive ( but not mean ) dogs to roam free and bully other dogs. I've had to snatch up other owners dogs by their scruff on a few occasions as they cross the line from playing to domination. Only one altercation with an owner that kept their dog on a leash and didn't understand the dynamics of a dog park. She was hypersensitive to any other dog being a "dog" anywhere near her. She had no business being at a dog park and I made sure to let her know that. Overall it's a pretty good park and a short drive for anyone in Cane Ridge, Lennox Village, Tusculum Hills, Antioch and North Brentwood.

  great place

  Has a great fenced in hiking area so you can walk with your dog off leash in a wooden area, my pup loves it! not to mention everyone is so friendly here

  Very clean and has a great option to go on a completely fenced in short hike with your pup.

  First Dog Park Experience

  This was both mine, and my buddy Cujo's first time at a dog park and I have to say it was near other worldly. It was a dog utopia of sorts. The grounds were nice and the pet friendly enclosed area seemed to be very well kept and free from litter and cigarette butts, but I can't say the non doggy portion of the park was quite as impressively clean, but that's not to say it was filthy or anything. The dogs and owners that I encountered on our first visit all seemed very friendly and well mannered, I really got a nice community feel from the place. I can only hope that I continue to have that same interaction, but that will be day to day I'm sure. It's all fenced in, so you can feel safe about your four-legged friends having a good time off leash. Even the nature walking trails were enclosed. There is however, a pretty massive mosquito population, especially on the trails, but that's Tennessee for you. Just make sure your pet is up to date on their heartworm preventative and you bring some bug spray for yourself. It was nice to have water fountains on site for humans and furry creatures alike, and trash cans with doggie bags line the outer perimeter of the fence. There's even a double fenced entrance to make sure no pets escape while someone is trying to leave. This park has been life changing for me and my pup, and if I take anything from it, it's that I'm so proud to be a part of a welcoming community that truly cares.
