    A hidden gem

It’s hard to find if you’re not from here. There are signs right up to it saying no dogs, but keep going to end of the sea wall and there is parking on the street or go up 14th street and around the curve, there is a parking lot. It is an easy walk and a great place for dogs year around!

    THE BUGS were absolutely unbearable.

Was a nice area, great because dogs were on leash. We did run into one mean dog with a mean owner. There were also fishing polls in the ground and if you aren’t careful you will get stuck in the string… along with this… THE BUGS were absolutely unbearable. They attach to you and your dog and they bite and you can’t get away from them no matter where you go. We left the beach due to this and there were still bugs all throughout Brigantine we went to another beach instead and will never return to Brigantine. I wish I knew about this issue before driving down there so here’s your warning!!!

First Dog Beach Trip a Success!

Went here Sep 23 so crowds minimal because it's the off season. Parking on street not a problem. Drive North on East Brigantine Ave., parked along the seawall, across from Pirate's Den restaurant. Walked over the sea wall and north. Bunch of trucks and folks fishing. Everyone nice. At end of the beach confusing signage says Wildlife Refuge, no dogs allowed, and also dogs must have 6 ft leash. Anyway, would have liked the beach be more sandy and less with broken shells, but still okay. Our dogs enjoyed it. We enjoyed it. Everyone was nice and chill.

    The best!

We live on the North End of Brigantine and recently got a pup. This area near the seawall is the best option for a family with a dog.

This 4 x 4 area has its own character and stretches all the way from the seawall to the beginning of the state preserve up north.

There is plenty of space and parking even on a busy Saturday in the summer.

Of course there are bugs but not really until July 1st and typically when its humid with no wind. Bring skin so soft spray with SPF during these days.

    Great Beach !!

Follow your GPS all the way to the end of East Brigantine Avenue find parking in the street and you will see the entrance to beach. It’s so nice for the pups some people drive there SUVs on the beach but I think you need a permit for that, but we just parked in street and walked in. The beach is nice and clean. Will definitely be going back.

    Amazing, but....

I joined this pet-friendly beach on Sunday and it was not so crowded! There were free parking on the street very close to the beach. Unfortunately I was fed up from the annoying horse flies bites.

    Dog Days of Summer

We had a great experience at the dog beach in Brigantine on Labor Day weekend. . It is very close to the Sea wall and downtown. We parked on the street. You can drive right on the beach if you have an SUV. There were lots of other dogs. It's a nice beach for long walks too.

    Disappointed

We went to Brigantine North End Beach on 4th of July as we watched the weather and the Longport Beach (Somers Point) was supposed to get rain. We were very disappointed (and our dog Feliz was as well) by what we experienced. There were not too many dogs and almost all people drove and sat next to their big trucks on the beach!!! As we checked back the weather, we decided to drive to our favorite Longport Dog beach (Somers Point) and enjoyed friendliness of everyone there and our dog was beyond happy to be back and run around with other dogs!

    Great beach for dogs

We rent in Brigantine almost every summer (5+ years now) and love it there. We bring the whole family and our god - who LOVES the beach. We have always enjoyed it.

    Beautiful clean dog beach

Our yellow lab met the ocean for the first time and loved it!! The beach was clean and not too crowded for a Ssturday late morning!! The only thing that kept it from being perfect was the horse flys!
