  we are on a blue ridge parkway trip and went down to town. my two large energetic dogs had fun, at

  have a large fenced yard and they are accustomed to having it. they are happy now

  🐾Nice Park🐾

  Had a nice, quiet Saturday evening at the dog park. My dogs were the only dogs at the park. They played and ran around. Park was clean. No complaints!

  Thrasher-Appropriate Name

  We brought our dogs here on a Saturday. There were aggressive dogs that made it impossible for the other dogs to play. They ran over and growled at the other dogs.
  These are breeds typically labeled as aggressive and I hated to see that owners were irresponsible and left large, powerful dogs untrained and running amok.
  Also two large dogs that were dog-aggressive were in the small dog area, so our small dog had to go in the large dog area.
  I would not bring my dog here again

  Great for large dogs, not for smaller ones

  The large dog area is huge with picnic tables and several shade trees, which is nice for them, but for those of us with small dogs you get a fenced grassy area but it's really small and there's no shade or seating at all. In Virginia in the summer, that's pretty unpleasant. It's a decent park overall since there aren't a lot of choices around here, just a bit unfair.

  great space

  This park is the only park in roanoke with grass. It's open and wide enough for fetch. The only thing that is annoying is the doggie fountain is in the unleash area and not inside the park. Otherwise this park is great!!!
