    Dangerously broken

I went there with a friend and their dog when thr ranch first opened and thought it was very cool. I went again Fall 2022 and it was dangerous and embarassing. Almost every piece of equipment/fencing was broken with exposed sharp pieces in some cases. The tallest platforms for the dogs to jump on would easily allow a dog to jump out. There are no double-gated exits either. I wrote to the city council members for the ward and my own ward, as well as parks and rec and not one response.

Great spot for walking in wide open areas!

My dog is very aggressive toward other dogs (I'm working on training!), and very high energy, so this place is perfect! Lots of wide open grassy areas (prob 3-3 acres) and paths around the old mental facility (ooh so creepy it's cool!), and while yes, the agility pens are small, there's so much walking areas around them!

Wish more people knew about this park!

Took my pup the morning and he had the time of his life! space to throw balls and sticks. A fun playground for dogs.

    Small, muddy, depressing

My kiddos and I took our dog Dobby to this park, and were sorely disappointed. The enclosure is small with little open space for dogs to run. The agility obstacles are neat, but it feels like they should be spread out over several acres, not jammed into this over-fenced mud pit. Which could happen, as there is plenty of unused land surrounding the park. Adjacent to the park is a creepy abandoned building covered in graffiti. My dog can't read but my 7 year old can. Don't repeat it to grandma, kid!

    Clean and Peaceful

Plenty of parking, well-kept and welcoming park with separate enclosures for small and large breeds. However, there is no shade within the enclosures and no greenery. The dirt floor gets quite hot fast with no where to hide. The park is surrounded by beautiful greenery. If they expanded the enclosures to include grass and shade, it would be perfect.

    Great Dog Park

Love that we have this in Waltham! Was empty when we visited today. But my dogs LOVED it! Cant wait to go back!

    Always empty!

This park is hard to find, but a wonderful addition to the “close to Belmont” area. Belmont has NO DOG PARKS, which is silly, so we’ve been to this one several times with our puppy. There are no water facilities or poop bags here, which is why it only gets 4 bones. I wish more people knew about it so we could have socialization time with others.

    beautiful peaceful park

Great clean fenced areas with 4 things for big dogs to jump over on or through in the area designated for large dogs. Separate entrance/exit with double gates. Beautiful grassy area outside. Very beautiful location.

    Nice park

I took my two boys here, and they, of course, loved running around. Unfortunately, we were the only ones there! It's a nice park that's well maintained. There's some agility equipment and toys. I didn't see any water bowls, but we brought our own anyway.

I really hope this place does well. It would be a shame for such a nice park to go to waste.
