  Great grassy area, plus the actual dog park!

  It was noon and 95 degrees when we got here. No one was in the gated dog park and the bark and pavement looked hot. There was a family with a dog on the spacious grass area (and no other people)...so I ran my pup back and forth several times - he'd been cooped up in a car for 10 hours of driving yesterday and another 3 today. He was SO happy to stop here. Yes, there are homeless folks, but no one bothered us at all. Right off of 5, so convenient. Lots of fast food around and am staying at the 'dog stays free' Motel 6 which is also very nice.

  Nice park, just be aware

  Nice shady, flat park, plenty of room to chuck a ball. Quite a few people living around the park. Just a heads up to keep your belongings safe.

  Shady Park

  this dog park is pretty shady. both in literal shade from trees and that it has a lot of homeless people in the park. we went around 8am i just needed to get my pup to run around a bit to get things moving. it worked and we were on our way. there is a good coffee shop next to the park. forage coffee i would highly recommend that as either a start to the dog park or an ending. nevertheless the park did what i needed it to do and we were on our way.

  Great Park Bad Company

  The park was great but we were generally uncomfortable with the people there.

  Great For Small Pups

  Having been in the car for three days, our dog Moxie was really wound up. This was a perfect spot for her to get some zooms out, plus they have a separate area for under 25 lb dogs so we didn’t have to worry about her trying to step to a big dog.

  Great location but...

  High homeless population make me feel uncomfortable, that also might be why the is a really strong urine smell. I have never had any issues with any dogs or people but I have seen a few. And it have been obnoxious, maybe it is the great location that bring the crazy’s or due to the accessibility it brings the wrong people. Also they run out of poop bags frequently probably due to the homeless population. I wouldn’t avoid this park but it’s not my first pick.

  I have been to many dog parks and this is by far my favorite. Not very big but never had issues with size. Yes Kenny of room to run around.
