    Shoreline Sightseeing

    Bring Fido aboard one of the dog-friendly Shoreline Cruises boats in Chicago, IL, for a trip on Lake Michigan or the Chicago River. Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome on classic lake cruises and architecture cruises. The classic lake cruise will highlight historic lakefront sights and attractions along Lake Michigan. The architecture cruise will take you down the Chicago River to see buildings such as Tribune Tower, Wrigley Building, Trump Tower, Marina City and more. Dogs are not permitted on special event cruises or on fireworks cruises. Cruises depart from multiple locations depending on cruise and time. Call or visit website for exact departure location.       Relaxing

      We took the 40-minute lake cruise. It gave us a break from walking around Chicago. It was relaxing and enjoyable to be out on the water and gave our pup a chance to relax from the day's activities too. This is a pre-recorded narrated tour with good information about the Chicago skyline.

      enjoyed it more than I thought!

      my mom & I were in chicago for a few days & saw the boat tours were dog friendly - sure, sign me up. but wow, our tour guide was a local architecture major & it was fascinating! there were both chairs & benches to sit on, my pup (30 pounds) sat on my lap on a bench to be able to look out & feel the breeze. I get seasick easily, but this boat was smooth. there were I believe 3 other dogs on our trip as well. 5 bones for sure!

      Excellent for dogs, my dog loved this and they are really friendly here. This tour is one of my favorites of any US city.

      We took the architectural river tour in the night and it was great and it was even better share this experience with my pups!

      Fun time

      I was very happy to be able to bring my baby sparkle with us to the boat ride. I’m sure I enjoyed it more than she did. There is no extra fee for your pet and it does need to be on leash.

      Great Excursion!

      Took the architectural river tour which was amazing - so much architecture and history. Sat up top soaked in the sun - had a great time - staff was very welcoming.
