  Sheri is the best!

  We didn't see any dolphins and our booking ended up falling on a dreary, almost chilly day, but we still had such a good time! Sheri has such a wealth of knowledge, and she was SO GOOD to our dog. Being on the boat made him nervous, and she kept the pace slow so he'd be okay. I loved learning about the area from someone who truly knows the lay of the land. Definitely recommend Sheri's service if you're looking to spend some time on the water!

  My dog and I loved it!!

  We had such a great time going out with Sheri that we rebooked a couple more times during our stay! We saw dolphins, a first time experience for my dog, and had a great snorkel stop! On our second trip, we went to the sandbar. I asked Sheri to bring along her sweet dog, Spirit. Spirit taught my dog how to get on/off the boat and how to swim! Sheri even has doggy lifejackets and dog treats. Sheri catered each day to our desires. She shared her love and knowledge about dolphins. The boat has plenty of shade and an easy ladder. The marina was lovely, had super easy parking and a shop with restrooms. Definitely the best part of our trip! My dog and I loved it!!

  Great personalized boat trip with our pup!

  My husband and I bring our Pomeranian everywhere, so when we saw we could bring our dog on a boat trip and also see dolphins, we were extremely excited. Sheri luckily squeezed us in for a last minute booking. We went this month (November) and it’s not “peak” dolphin spotting time. So, to be honest; we didn’t see any dolphins. And Sheri TRIED for us. We did loops. We just happened to be in her 5% of cruises that don’t see dolphins (from the sounds of other boat tours, no one spotted any the day we went.)
  Now, with all this being said, this was still 100% a worth it, favorite activity of ours in Key West. My husband is a passionate snorkeler, and Sheri took us to an amazing shipwreck where my husband snorkeled about (saw some great fish and a ray), and I stayed on board with my dog & talked to Sheri. My husband and I had an amazing, relaxing time being on the boat, and seeing our dog enjoy the boat too was so fun. Sheri had all the snorkeling supplies, and sodas for us to enjoy. I write this all to remind everyone that dolphins are wild creatures. Sheri can’t just make them appear. The ocean is not an enclosed tank. But boy will she give every ounce of effort to try to make you see one. We are so happy we did this boat cruise, and we will 100% book with Sheri again when we go back to Key West.

  Highlight of our vacation!

  This boat trip was the highlight of our visit. We brought the dog and she had a blast. Sheri had everything we could possibly need to make the ride comfortable from dog water/treats and sodas, to snorkel gear and floats. We see dolphins all the time, but not this many in such a intimate interaction. We felt very safe in Sheri's expert hands. Highly recommend!

  Our Favorite Key West Experience!

  Highly recommend the Wild About Dolphins excursion with Captain Sheri! Take the 4 hour trip - you won’t regret it. My kids, pup, and I had the best time aboard Captain Sheri’s boat. We saw plenty of dolphins, swam at the sandbar, and snorkeled along the reef. As a Floridian it’s hard to impress me but this trip was worth every penny. We had a blast and Sheri is such a great host…she is proactive about communicating, ensuring we had the best experience, and she’s very prepared. We opted to have Captain Sheri bring her dog for our trip and our dog was so happy to have a friend who showed him the ropes and made him less apprehensive about the water. 10/10

  What an amazing day!

  We booked a 3 hour, but wish we would have done longer. Captain Sheri texted us the day before to see if we wanted her to bring along her Golden, Spirit. Of course we said yes! Our dog, Kali, loved having Spirit there to mentor her on how to boat life. They had a great time playing in the sand bar and talking to the dolphins.
  Being a dog lover, Captain Sheri had everything prepared for a day of fun on the water for our whole family. From ice water, water toys, bungee leashes and doggie life jackets - all we had to do was show up!
  We had a memorable day with Sheri and Spirit and highly recommend booking with them! 🐾

  Unforgettable!

  Unforgettable family outing with our Portuguese water dog. Captain Sheri guided and accompanied us in our encounter with dolphins and our snorkeling adventure in the Gulf of Mexico. Three hours of pure happiness!!! Captain Sheri is a great captain whose love of dogs and dolphins alike transpires. We highly recommend.

  What a great time!

  Captain Shari showed us a great time on our dolphin tour with our puppy. You can tell she really loves dogs since she has set up her boat to accommodate them. she even provided the smallest little doggy life vest for our pup. Ringo tried swimming but it was just a little too deep for his swim lesson. Nonetheless less he got to cool off in the floating chair that Captain Shari provided and then she kept him company in the boat while my husband and I took a swim. We saw lots of dolphins and it was a beautiful day! I highly recommend Captain Shari’s dolphin boat tour.

  Amazing!

  my husband, daughter and our dog Nova had the most amazing time with Tara. She had a wealth of knowledge and we learned a lot. The dolphins were spectacular and she knew just where to go. I have never been snorkeling and neither had my daughter, she was very patient and a great teacher. She watched Nova on the boat while the 3 of us went snorkeling and when my daughter was done she joined us and showed us some great places to see some really cool fish along a reef. Then we went to a sandbar where Nova was able to get out and swim with all of us. The weather was beautiful, the dolphins were spectacular, the swimming/snorkeling was top notch. We couldn’t have asked for a better day, and the fact we were able to do it with our pup made it even better. ☺️

  Best Dolphin Tour Ever!

  I have been on two dolphin viewing trips (Virginia Beach and Tampa) before and this was BY FAR the best by a long shot. Sheri was an amazing captain and host; she was very knowledgable about not only dolphins but the Key West area, as well! We were thrilled to find an outing that allowed us to bring our dog, and having the boat to ourselves (4 adults) was perfect. And when 3 of us went snorkeling, my husband had a great time chatting with Sheri. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone who enjoys being out on the water with their favorite furry friend, meeting dolphins and enjoying incredible scenery, not to mention great company!

  Outstanding day!

  Be flexible and call as soon as you decide! we called on Monday, first opening was Friday (which was fine) Gorgeous day! We had Capt Tara. She is fantastic, pleasant, knowledgeable. Had water, bowl and a life jacket (if needed) Very knowledgeable about the area, birds and the plants. We saw dolphins and then went to a sandbar for MaKai to get a good romp!

  Sheri Loves Animals

  I was very lucky to book a tour with Captain Sheri, a few days before our Key West visit! (after an earlier scheduled tour in Port Charlotte was canceled) So happy we got to do a 3-hour tour with Sheri! Have never felt more welcomed and at ease! Each of us - including my 65-pound doodle, Remi - was treated like family! Captain Sheri had drinks for ALL of us to enjoy!
  We were able to see multiple dolphins, while Sheri shared her valuable knowledge about them. She played music to put them at ease, and they obviously enjoyed it. Several times on our adventure the dolphins came very close to the boat to interact with us!
  Sheri then took us to a reef where we enjoyed colorful fish while snorkeling. She “babysat” Remi to allow us to snorkel.
  Cannot recommend this trip highly enough! You will not be disappointed!!

  Fun Day For All!!

  We brought our two dogs and had a blast. Was amazing to see all the dolphins and swimming on the sand bar was so much fun. Our 11-year-old dog enjoyed sitting in the shade, while our 3 year old would have swum and played fetch all day. Capt Sheri helped make the day perfect!

  So awesome!!!

  This was a GREAT activity for us an our pup! Sheri was so so so kind to us and our pup. The water bowl was always full of water and ice. She takes the safety of the pups into consideration by having belts for them all around the boat. We were able to see dolphins and go swimming at the sand bar! Oh, also so nice that the boat is shaded! Her sweet pup Spirit was along for the ride too and she is soooo dog friendly! Would definitely do this again with Captain Sheri!

  Awesome!!!!

  We went out with Captain Tara and our two dogs. What a great trip! We saw dolphins, then went to a sandbar where the dogs could swim. They even had life vests for them! They also had a bowl and plenty of water, and they gave them tags for their collars. Captain Tara was awesome at helping get the dogs on and off the boat. She also watched them while we snorkeled. It was an all around awesome experience. Highly recommended!!!

  Captain Sherri is the Nest

  we enjoyed our trip with Captain Sherri so much. she was very accommodating, and told us many stories and information about the area on our trip. she built our cruise to take us places that were of interest to us, no set tour...it was the highlight of our visit in Key West!

  “Paw-fect” trip!

  We brought Gio, our golden retriever out on a dog charter and requested she bring along her beautiful golden, Spirit also. We had fun cruising around, stopping at a beautiful beach/sandbar so the dogs could run and play, watching dolphins, and snorkeling (Capt Sherri was sweet enough to sit with our dog while we snorkeled). She kept the dogs and humans hydrated and she was so sweet to our dog. It was such a great way to enjoy the beautiful waters around Key West with our pup- we would recommend it to anyone!

  Sheri really loves dogs! (people, too)

  Some activities say they are dog-friendly but this one really is! Sheri was amazingly accommodating to our pet, and with her vast knowledge of the area we saw and learned more than we imagined on our 4 hour charter. Sheri had a life jacket to fit our 90 pound Rottweiler, Heidi, and there are clever bungee-type cords to keep her tethered safely inside the boat so we didn’t have to hold her leash. There is plenty of shade and the boat seating is comfortable. Later that evening Sheri sent us photos and videos of our trip, along with a list of dog-friendly activities and restaurants. We highly recommend Wild About Dolphins and Captain Sheri and will cruise with her again.

  Great Day on the water

  We did a 3 hour private charter with Sheri and had such a great morning. She knew exactly where to go to see the dolphins and then stopped at a sandbar for a while so we could get in and swim for a while which we really enjoyed. Our dog (Riley) was able to get in and swim with us. Will definitely book another trip with Sheri when we go back to Key West.

  Thinking about it? Do it

  We did a half day charter with our two Min Pins and was easily the best decision of our vacation. We took the pups out on a sandbar and let one of them swim (she loves the water and tried with the other but him and water just don't mix). Captain Sheri watched the dogs while we snorkeled for a bit around a shallow reef and then we went back to try and find some dolphins after we didn't have much luck earlier. Once we found a pod of dolphins the dogs absolutely loved it. At first we thought they'd bark (since they do at just about anything) but no; super excited, curious and seemed like the dolphins were mutually interested.

  If you're on the fence about one of these trips, just do it, and book with Captain Sheri.

  Best day of vacation!

  We absolutely loved our Wild about Dolphins tour with our dog. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Sheri and Tara were excellent guides on a truly magical journey. The “dolphin playground” area they took us too lived up to it’s name! We saw dozens of dolphins all around our boat, including babies playing and jumping in the water. And then snorkeling was the icing on the cake of a great trip. Sheri loves dogs, and spoiled ours with lots of love and treats. We were thrilled to find such a special outing that all our whole family, including our dog Lucy, loved!

  Best Day Ever!

  My husband and two pups went on a four hour trip with Captain Sherri on our recent trip to Key West. Boy are we glad we booked this trip! We really loved all of it, but it was especially amazing to see the interaction between the dolphins and our pups. It really seemed like they were communicating! Visiting a sandbar for a swim and snorkeling with rays and tropical fish were icing on the cake! Captain Sherri is very knowledgeable about the area and the local dolphins and she was super careful about triple sanitizing all the gear and having sunscreen and hand sanitizer on the boat. Don’t miss a chance to take this once in a lifetime trip with your fur babies!

  What an experience

  Stella (My Goldendoodle) and the family had such an amazing time, this trip really made our weekend. We made it a sunset ride, and it was PERFECT. We got to do everything we wanted! Snorkeling to playing with Stella to Dolphin Watching. It was completely personalized and Sheri our Captain was great with making sure we were take care of and Comfortable! Will definetly be coming back again!

  Seriously Impressive

  We brought our 4 month old Aussie/Blue Heeler mix, Panda, on the trip with us and she loved it! It was her first boat ride and swim. At first we thought little Panda would be unable to join us on the trip, but Capt. Sheri called the other guests on our charter and asked if they would mind having her along. We got lucky, because the other guests said they would love to have her along. Panda loved the other guests as much as they loved her. Panda also enjoyed trying to talk to the dolphins once we came across them.
  We had a wonderful tour of the Key West's surrounding waters, and Capt. Sheri was super knowledgeable about the area, its history, and the wildlife. When it came time to snorkel on the reef Capt. Sheri volunteered to stay on the boat with little Panda, so they got to cuddle while we got to enjoy the water and the wildlife. We finished off the day with a trip to the sandbar where Capt. Sheri provided a little life jacket for Panda so she could swim. While Panda swam, the humans received a snack.
  I was overly impressed with this experience and would love to do it again.

  Best experience in Key West!

  We brought our seven-month old labrador and had a blast with Cap't Sheri and her dog, Maya. First, the dogs played in a sandbar while I "learned" how to snorkel. We had a healthy, filling lunch before dolphin watching and snorkeling. Sheri was the perfect tour guide - entertaining, helpful, informative, and fun! I would recommend this tour to anyone, even if one didn't have a dog!

  Private Charter

  This is worth it!!! We got a private charter just the husband and myself and our two cocker spaniels. Captain Sheri had a dog water bowl that never seemed to spill, doggie life jackets and we were able to swim around and get them on and off the boat easily on the ladder. Saw amazing amounts of dolphins, beautiful water and yummy snacks. And she watched the doggies while we got in our snorkel time. I'd give more bones/stars if i could!

  Great Fun

  We had great fun with Captain Sherri and her dog Maya. The water was so clear, we saw a lot of dolphin and had the opportunity to do some snorkeling. Our dogs are large so we decided on a private charter. Sheri was nice, friendly, and she explained a lot. Her dog was lovely and loves the dolphins.

  Dolphin Trip

  This trip was great. We were allowed to bring our golden retriever (Belle) along. We saw many dolphins and lot of them would ride our bow wake. Belle and Maya (captain's golden) had a great time in the shallows to swim around. People on our trip did not care to snorkel but the opportunity was offered. Would highly recommend this trip.

  Awesome day of Dolphins and Dogs

  This was the best day of our 11 day vacation b/c not only did we see lots of wild dolphins, swim in crystal clear gulf water, snorkel on a coral reef but our dog got to enjoy himself too. Cap't Sherri's dog showed my dog the ropes. Who knew dogs could climb up and down boat ladders..? Wonderful day, great company and a little education too. :)
