Fort Stevenson State Park

Fort Stevenson State Park in Garrison, ND, is dog friendly. Located on the north shore of Lake Sakakawea, this park offers interpretive trails, a prairie dog town, a visitor center and a campground. Dogs must be leashed at all times when visiting this recreation area. Visit Website

Great For Dogs
They have a dog park (not fenced) and there is a good beach spot behind it that we brought our dogs swimming at. All of the trials are dog friendly and almost everyone has a dog at the campsites!
