Friendly park with nice walking paths

This is a regular park that is dog friendly (must remain on leash). It has lots of places with shaded and benches. Ample parking during the day. Definitely recommend to anyone who just wants to take a stroll with their pup. Didn’t see any bag/waste stations, so make sure you bring your own supplies (I know it should go without saying but people still don’t walk their dogs without poop bags handy on their leashes). Nice photo ops as well.

    Beautiful Park

This is a beautiful park with lots of history. While it is dog-friendly, pets must stay leashed and it isn’t really geared toward dogs. It’s a good place to go for a stroll and a potty break while you’re in the French Quarter, but I suggest bringing your own bags for cleanup.

    Very walkable and clean

Dogs must be on leash, but there are lots of paved trails and benches in the shade. Lots of stairs around the ponds, so just be aware of that if your dog has mobility issues like ours. Was a great place to relax.

    Just nice.

This was without a doubt a very nice park but please know this isn’t a “dog park”, it is however dog friendly and you’re required to have your dog on a leash, not what we were looking for. Nevertheless, it’s a great place to walk and spend with the family.

    Green grass romps

The park has lots of room to roam and romp. Lots of grassy areas to stroll as well as sandy/rocky areas nice plants to sniff. A duck pond and a pathway that circles the park. Of course there are great sculptures of Jazz legends to see as well.
