    Mission San Jose

We have only visited Mission San Jose thus far (intend to see the others on our next visit).
Very enjoyable stroll around the large grounds; dogs are not allowed inside buildings, but plenty of things to see.
San Antonio, in general, is very dog friendly, including being able to dine with your dog on the river walk (though it can get crowded down there).
    Bring your own water.
