    Moorten Botanical Garden

    Leashed dogs are welcome to join you while you visit the pet-friendly Moorten Botanical Garden in Palm Springs, CA. This historic botanical garden opened in 1938 and features several rare cacti. Visitors can also view crystals, colorful rocks, ancient fossils, pioneer and gold mining relics, and cacti of varying sizes from miniature to giant!       Welcome on*short* leash

      For good reason! No prickles in them noses! Staff were lovely and so nice to our heeler. She was curious about the turtles! Great collection of cacti and succulents! Definitely recommend!

      Lovely display of cactus and nice nursery

      Dogs on leash welcome. Nicely labeled display of cactus and desert plants. street parking. Limited hours (Fri-Sun 9-1:00)

      A Dream Come True

      We loved Moortens from the day we walked in. Found a dog friendly review a decided to go. So beautiful we had to get married there. So in October we tied the know with Our pup Scout and couldn’t have been happier. Amazing gardens, friendly people and a lovely time. Thank you so much for having us!

      Succulent Garden is dog friendly

      We enjoyed our time here. Moorten is listed on bringfido.com and it is true, dogs are allowed in. They were pleased that we travel with our own dog clean up supplies. All the employees we interacted with were friendly. The garden was beautiful. If you like succulents this is the place to be. In addition to a nice variety of succulents for sale, they have some beautiful artwork. For a small attraction this was great. Would have given 5 stars for more information about the plants on signage or via qr codes. Also parking was scarce. Still a very enjoyable stop.
