    Located in Canon City just 15 minutes from the Royal Gorge, one hour from Colorado Springs, and two hours from Denver, dog-friendly Colorado Jeep Tours welcomes you and Fido for an adventure. Canines are allowed with advance reservations on certain tours to Royal Gorge Bridge and Park, Red Canyon Park, and the Gold Belt Scenic Byway. Dogs that can be carried and held during the tour ride for free. Dogs that are larger than lap size (generally over 20 lbs) will be required to travel on the floor of the vehicle, and Fido will be charged the child rate for that tour. Dogs are not permitted to sit or stand on the rails at any time, and owners will also need to sign a dog waiver. Visit Website

      Our Dog’s Favorite

      This isn’t a cheap excursion, but it was so worth the money! our dog loved the open air Jeep and the wind in her face. Our tour guide Steve was fabulous. He knew everyone by name and really honed in on their personalities and what they enjoyed about the tour. He saw my daughter drawing plants and so taught her the names and uses of many plants. I highly recommend this trip Although be warned the roads are really rough in a few places. Hold on tight to your dog.

      Great tour for the 6 of us plus Baloo!

      We took an amazing tour of Canon City and the gorge in early October with our large dog Baloo. Rick was very knowledgeable and personable. We all learned a lot and Baloo's favorite part was getting out to explore different areas. We highly recommend this tour and would love to do it again in the future.

      Colorado Jeep Tours goes to the dogs!

      Buffy and I had a great time with Will on our tour around the hills of Canon City. Not only was Will a terrific guide, he was great with Buffy. She loved the ride! Definitely a 5 bone experience! Thanks,CJT, see you again soon :)
