    No Dogs in Summer

I have a dog who LOVES the beach, but I appreciate that Maine beaches are not dog-friendly in the summer. When I go to the beach in the summer, I want to be able to relax. That couldn't happen with 20 dogs running around off leash. We only let our dog off leash in public areas when there are not other dogs around. We like that during autumn, winter and spring, we can find days where we are the only people and dog on the beach. Crescent Beach is our favorite beach in Maine and a great place to watch a storm roll in.

    State Park

They actually are not very dog friendly. NO dogs at all from April 1st Through Labor Day, and times beyond that, they must be on leash at all times
