Fort Cooper State Park

Leashed dogs are welcome at Fort Cooper State Park, a pet-friendly state park in Inverness, FL. You and Fido can explore the numerous trails throughout the canopy forests that make up this 700-acre historic area. Pets on a 6-foot or shorter leash are allowed on all hiking trails and at the picnic areas. Please note that dogs are not permitted on the beach or in the lake as it is a sensitive nesting area for endangered species. Visit Website
