      Nice walk

      The walkway was about 3 feet wide, made of dirt, pretty flat, and well covered with trees. There were a fair amount of people walking their dogs for a weekday afternoon in mid-September. Passing by one another is tight, so this may not be a great choice for a reactive dog. However, there were about 10 scenic lookouts (mostly marshland) where the walkway widens and you can pass at one of those. Not too many bugs. There were restrooms, but unfortunately no TP. We did not see any trash cans for dumping poop baggies, so be prepared to take it with you.

      Perfect little walk

      Beautiful and peaceful spot for a stroll. We were passing through on a rainy day but the tree cover kept us dry enough. very buggy so wear some spray.

      Perfect length

      Wonderful fall views and lots of little critters around. It was the perfect length for my 8yr old dane

      Beautiful national treasure

      Easy, mostly flat, walking trail with many scenic outlooks. Well maintained. They allow dogs on leash!

      Great Little Hike For Our Dogs

      This was a really good little hike. We have an older dog and a younger one. The shade was awesome and the sites were great.

      Beautifully laid out 1 mile trail. We finished tick free 😅

      easy 1mile dog friendly walk

      A pretty walk through a marshland there's also a Bridgeport and woodland dog friendly walks not too far away it's bridle path not Bridgeport.
