Cunningham Falls State Park is a dog-friendly destination in Thurmont, MD. Located in the picturesque Catoctin Mountains, the park is split into two different sections: William Houck Area and Manor Area. You can bring Fido with you to many of the campgrounds, on the trails, and in all of the day-use areas if they are on a leash under six feet and all mess is cleaned up after them. Pets are not permitted on the sandy portion of the beach and lake from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
