Dog in a hotel bed

Lover’s Key State Park is a dog-friendly park, where you and Fido can discover manatees, dolphins, alligators, ospreys and much more on a rented kayak. The mangrove-protected trail is certainly a sight to witness for any visitors to the area. Lover's Key State Park is open every day of the week from 8am to 8pm.

    Great Hiking Trails

THe state park allowes dogs on their trails (leashed 6ft). The entrance fee per car is $8. You can also rent kayaks (but in my opinion those are a bit expensive). Dogs are not allowed on the beach unfortunately. The Dog beach is not far and leashed dogs are allowed on Fort Myers beaches (parking fees)

    Not Dog Friendly

Per their website on 5/3/2019, the state park is not dog-friendly, only service animals.
