This is no longer a dog park. it has been taken over by homeless people. Stay away!!

    Terrible location

just drove by and the park was completely empty probably because right across from the park there is tents of homeless people. sketchy.

    urban but just fine!

Best part is that it’s all wood chips so there’s no mud!

    Dangerous Car Traffic Area

This is a nice park, but the location is right between two very busy roads. Parking is not easy. You need to park along the road. There is a quieter access road on one side near the entrance. Note that the park is across the road from where GPS will tell you it is. Look around if you don't see it! When I arrived in the mid-morning it was empty, but a few dogs joined us over time. It was a good experience, I just worry about all that car traffic if a dog gets loose during entry/exit or loading/unloading. Be careful!

    So so

On the plus side the park is large and well-shaded. On the down-side, the location is questionable with homeless asking for money and there were lots of muddy puddles in the park and it hadn't rained for days. Wood chips are great, but they need a lot more. Although this is the closest off-leash dog park to my house, I'm going to seek another location.

    Sketchy!

This dog part is SKETCHY and owners don't clean up after their dogs and don't pay attention to them. There were some sketchy dudes that came in with like 7 dogs and started asking people for money. It's not safe at all.

    Dogs love this park

This park has a great mixture of bark chips and grassy areas. It DOES HAVE WATER. There is lots of shade. Even though it is "inner city," it's a lot nicer than the Tom Bolack Urban Forest.

    Good and Bad Timing

Considering its location, in downtown Albuquerque, this is a very pleasant park: nice trees, very clean, and water available. There have been other dogs there every time I've been - timing is all!
