- AmyJul 25, 2023Fun Afternoon!
I was so excited to discover a boat ride that I could take my dog Jasper on! After looking at all the different options I decided on one of the 2 hour lighthouse tours, since it would be Jasper's first boat ride. Jasper was happily welcomed, as were the several other dogs on the boat. There are plenty of seats, and lots of room, Jasper spent most of the time sleeping on the floor. It was very foggy during our tour so it was difficult to see, but we all had a great time anyway. Something to consider, dogs are welcome on the boat but you have to purchase a ticket for them, it is $20, which is not that much cheaper than an adult ticket so it is kind of steep, but for us it was worth it to have our baby with us.

We know that seals are just dog mermaids, which was why it was so much fun for my black lab to see his aquatic cousins on the Harbor Tour! The crew was all super friendly as well.
10 out of 10! - DaveJul 17, 2020Great Experience
During this COVID pandemic it has got to be real hard on these businesses. Today we embarked on the 1-1/2 tour with our 2 German Shepherds. We felt completely welcomed on board. The crew was even excited with how many dogs were on board. Great time, great guided tour by the Captain. Great COVID protocols, staff was on top of every touch with on spot cleaning. They dropped their capacity to 1/3 as well. I highly
- MichaelSep 27, 2019Great Cruise !
While staying in Portland, we looked for day trips we could make. The cruises of Cap'n Fish's Boat Trips looked really interesting. Sailing out of Boothbay Harbor, we felt a cruise would let us see more of the coast of Maine than trying to drive along the coast. The cruises are dog friendly but the price per dog is high. A senior ticket was $30 and a ticket for a dog was $20! We went even though the cost was a little outrageous for the dogs. The cruise was great. The information shared about the history of the area and what it is like to live in this section of Maine was fascinating. It was a long cruise but we enjoyed it immensely. I would encourage Cap'n Fish to consider lowering the price for a dog's ticket. You are not dog-friendly if the price of a ticket is so high.
