Sign says permit required but we were visiting town and didn't have one

A regular to the dog park told us not to worry about the permit sign. Everyone was friendly. Lots of open space. one fenced area is designated for dogs 20 lbs or less.

Great for both small and large dogs!

I've been going about 3-4 days a week for the past two months to socialize my 5 month old puppy and he loves it! They have an area designated for small dogs around 20 lbs that I would estimate to be about an acre and then the remaining 9 acres are for the larger dogs.

There is a path around the fence with a lot of trash cans with poop bag dispensers along the way. In addition there are benches that you can sit on while you watch your dog play. There are also a bunch of water dishes around the park that people often fill but it would be beneficial to bring your own water just in case they're empty

My only complaint is that is does get a little muddy when it rains and it is pretty close to a busy road but the fence seems very secure.

All of the dogs we've met there have been super nice and it has been a great place to socialize our puppy!

    Great for open space

The park is fairly well-sized, though it does get muddy following days of rain or thawing snow. Plenty of bowls for water, a couple of porta-potties for the humans, and trash cans with spare doggie bags are the limit of the amenities. Little shade but plenty of room for the dogs to RUN!

    Sparse

I traveled 35 minutes from my home to get this dog park, so it's not exactly convenient. That being said, the place is very sparse with few trees, though there are nice benches to sit on, most of them are in the full sun and not shelved. There is a walking trail that goes around the field, which is pretty much what this is - a large fenced in field next to a busy intersection.

    Hate it

We used to take our little dog here now and again but no longer visit. It's poorly maintained (several times we have went the grass is almost up to our knees in several spots) and when it rains there is no drainage and due to the shape of the land, it ends up being just a huge mud pit. Hardly any trees, no trails, no water available. Very boring. There have also been a few dogs killed here due to owners not watching them and putting their big dogs in the small dogs area etc. it is located right next to a main road and it's very noisy as well,

    wonderful!

This is a wonderful, huge dog park. Better than anything we have at home. Well-maintained, lots of water bowls; lots of trash cans along with doggie poop bags; and lots of nice dogs. We will be back on our next trip
