    great local park!

I love this park. We go just about every other day. The people are nice, the place is clean, and the size is just right.

    Not Good For Small Dogs

I took my Doxie there twice, both times she was chased around the park by big dogs. One shepherd wasn’t friendly and created a pack mentality for the other big dogs. Scared the crap out of my little dog so now we go to Potso.

    meh

While this park is conveniently located in downtown Tigard, it is too small to get away from other misbehaved dogs. It does look nice, has bark chips, and seems to be well kept.

    Very Clean

Love this park. It is small but provides poop bags, water (seasonal) and a covered area for owners. As the owner of a small indoor dog, I especially enjoy the seemingly forever fresh bark dust that covers the entire fenced area. I have never taken my pup home muddy from here and in our area, that is a plus! I have only recently discovered this place but have noticed some several familiar faces so folk are bound to become familiar with one another. As a new comer, people have been friendly. As someone else mentioned, this is a smaller park and there is only one fenced area so the pups need to get along regardless of size or breed.

    Spoiled Puppies

My experience was very similar to the previous rating. There is no separate area for puppies and smalls dog. owners and dogs there seem to know each other, but don't know how to discipline rough playing puppies. My dog decided to discipline a nipping Corgie puppy on his own after having enough, which I immediately intervened in. Finally the owners got the message and took charge, but I got the feeling it was all about my dog. Very small park, no grass, and not enough room if you have a large dog who likes his space. Owners there on the evening that I was there just didn't seem to have a clue.

Too Small and Rude Dog Owners

Normally I go to my neighborhood dog park but was in the area and heard about this park. The good news is it is kept clean and it has a covered area and poop baggies handy when I ran out. The bad news and why I give it 2 bones, is two fold. One, it is pretty small and got really crowded when I was there. But the most disappointing aspect was how I was treated by one of the board members. This person brought to my attention a rule I was breaking by treating me as a child. Their tone and attitude was very rude and I will not be going back if I see them in attendance. We all love our dogs and want to abide by the rules but sometimes we are unaware and need to be gently reminded. If you want to hang out with nice dog owners who support eachother and treat eachother with respect don't come here.
