    Variety and open space

This was our Malamute's first dog park experience and he loved roaming and making a new friend.
    Only drawback...lots of mosquitoes.

    Good Park

I have been bringing my dog here for awhile. It is great to have such a large space divided up for large and small dogs. Just know when it rains there are huge mud puddles so expect to at least rinse your dog off and bring a towel. There have been some large aggressive dogs here that made me give it less bones. I’ve never seen anyone maintaining the park so there are poops in random places. Love the hoses out front to clean up. Spent a lot of time here. Would definitely recommend it.

    Fun Park

I bring my dog here fairly often and he absolutely loves it. There have been a few instances where some other dogs showed aggression, but the dog park is big enough that we would just move away and still have plenty of room. There are separated parks for small dogs and big dogs and my only problem has been people bringing their small dogs into the large dog park. Every time we've been to the park at least one or two small dogs has been brought into the large dog area and the smaller dog would usually seem overwhelmed by the big dogs. Beside the occasional irresponsible pet owner (they're going to be at every park), this park is great, spacious, shady, and fun for dogs and family.

    All Aggressive Dogs

Don't bring your dog here if you want a civilized play time. The dogs brought here are ridiculously aggressive. I've never encountered such aggressive dogs at a dog park and the owners do NOTHING. Multiple dogs slammed into my dogs side multiple times. I had to step in because nobody else would. If my dog were displaying aggression like that, I would immediately stop it. Not worth bringing my dog here to be used as a punching bag...and she's 75lbs and huge. Don't be fooled by the nice, big, shady park. It's not worth it when you're walking away going to the ER...

    Our dogs love this park

This is a nice shady park next to Armand Bayou Nature Preserve. It's very popular with local folks and there are usually plenty of other dogs to socialize with. And yes, this is where the pistol-packing freak shot a dog for looking crossways at his mutt. Otherwise the only annoyance is a mud pit or two, and the occasional snake.

    Fun for dogs & people

Several acres of land. Plenty of room to throw a Frisbee or other toy. Covered seating for dog watching. Water and bathrooms available. Water hoses outside to wash off dogs. This is part of a larger park with playground equipment for kids and other things. Good gates to keep dogs in.
