  Great off leash park with a trail to walk with your pup

  This is a great little off leash park. A nice trail as well for walks/rides. Great people. Both a small and large dig side. Only wish there was more funding to keep it up,l. The parks pretty much switch back and forth due to grass damage. Wish we could get some better grass planted to prevent wear if that's a thing. Heck, or turf. The folks that maintain the place do a great job, just so many dogs the grass doesn't last more than a few months.

  An excellent designed dog park

  A very smart design in that it has no 90 degree corners to trap a dog. Aldo the fountains are in the Center of both large and small areas. The brick and chain link give it a classic look. Lots of space for both large and small dogs to play

  Good Park

  I've been going to this park with my pups for the last 2 years, since it opened. It was started and continues to be maintained by a non-profit who works very hard at keeping it up. They are constantly working at improving the park. The people and pups who go there are great and I've never had any problems there. The only reason why I haven't rated it higher is that it is kind of small for the number of dogs who go there, and it tends to tear the park up quicker. It just shows how popular this park is. The City of Lynchburg really should open up another park (or 2) in different parts of the city.
