    All homeless people

The whole park is overrun with homeless people. The dog park is open but the rest of the park is closed. Homeless camps in the parking lot.

    Traveling Through Review

We stopped on a road trip. The park was easy to find. It has water and bowls for dogs, park benches and picnic tables, garbage cans and bags, trees, and space to run. There are areas for both large and small dogs. Due to the time of day we did not get to meet any of the local dogs or people. Both dog park areas are mostly dirt and wood chips. This wasn’t a concern for us, but may need consideration in rain or if your dog has light hair. We would stop again.

    Great Location for Travelers

I drove across country in April with my 3 large dogs, stopping mid days at local dog parks. Maybe due to the pandemic the place was pretty empty and very clean. I didn’t have any of the problems that were in the reviews so maybe the city has cleaned up the area? I’m driving home next week and plan to stop again.

    Park is NOT safe

We stopped here while traveling and never will again. Homeless tents were set up near the edge of the park. There were several groups of people in the parking lot, one of which we could very clearly see taking intravenous drugs. We saw them walking across the parking lot with their needles out in plain site and as we drove away saw them injecting the drugs. There are way too many options in this area to waste your time here.

    Good

I have been here twice on cross-country road trips. Both times I thought it was a good park. Decent size. This time there was one unpleasant three-legged chihuahua but my large dog doesn't react much to that in small dogs. Met friendly people both times.

    Happy Experiences

My boyfriend and I had recently began taking our dog to this park. We own a large boxer/labrador and were skeptical about the short fences but the park is spacious and he always has such a blast. We have met so many nice people there. I know our puppy looks forward to his trips =)

    Nice Park

Very nice park. I like how there is a big dog section and a little dog section. People are very nice and clean up after there dogs. Only have had one issue with dogs being slightly aggressive but no harm was done. Was disappointed in the owner for not deescalating the situation quick enough. All in all a good place and my Maddie loves to go there. It has helped her be more social at 6yrs old. Make sure to bring water as there are bowels but no water faucet.

    Small but great!

I love this park because it tends to be one of the most used dog parks in the area. It may be because of the location near I-40, but whatever the case may be, I love taking my dogs there.
