Painting with Wax & Resin

'Painting with Wax & Resin' is a pet-friendly Airbnb Experience hosted by Leah. Your well-behaved pooch is welcome to sit beside you at this workshop where you will be introduced to the tools and techniques of encaustic painting. You will learn how to layer wax and resin to build up a surface, and then layering wax on to boards, fusing each layer with a heat gun. After a short break, you will add more color, texture, or photo transfers. Please note that the host has a cat onsite who will usually hide. The experience lasts 4 hours and can accommodate up to 4 guests ages 14 and up. Guests will need to climb stairs. Rates start at $125 per person. Book Now on Airbnb
