    Nice family park

Nice park with lots of natural wildlife from gators to deer. Having been our first visit here & wanting trails it was a bit hard to find where to go that dogs were allowed. Especially if you stay on the walkways & not stray off. Many of the boardwalks had signage saying no dogs. Big park so was able to get a lot of miles in walking around and navigating.

    Great Dog Park

They have both a large and small dog area. Lots of shade and place to site. Cooling station and water for dogs. Not a lot of dogs when we were there but the dogs were friendly and I didn't notice poop around when we were there. There is a nice walking path for dogs as well. We will definitely be back.

    Dog POOP

I haven't been to the dog park part of John Chestnut. Only the trails years ago. I can't walk without a limp now. Since i broke my knee 2 years ago. So-it's unpleasant walking my dog on trails. I wish I could still do it. And Today is Christmas-I'm alone-with nothing to do. I wish I could at least take my dog to this fenced in dog park here. But I can't-because i saw a review that sd-unfortunately-some people don't pick up their dogs poop. They RUIN IT FOR EVERYONE ELSE. My dog likes to roll in or eat other dog poop. She wouldn't be doing this. If people picked up thdeir own dogs crap. It ANGERS ME! Yesterday-I tried a local dog park. in less than 10 min, my dog found a HUGE load of poop to roll in. So-whT could have been a pleasant experience on Christmas eve no less. Caused me to leave-to take my dog home-smelling like . To give her a 30 min bath. It's NOT FUN. And for those of you-who do leave your dogs . That's how dogs get parasites. I had a beautiful Giant Schnauzer die from hookworm. You would think that dog goers in Palm Harbor would be clean. But lazy people-there's always at least one. If I wanted to get out today. I'd have to leave my dog in the car-while I scanned the whole dog park-limping. Looking for someone elses dog poop. That I then would have to pick up. And I just will not do it. So-I will sit home today mourning some more the death of my dog I just lost 2 weeks ago-to a DENTAL cleaning. And my remaining dog-being depressed to. Because we can't go anywhere. Because there are always the few. that think only about themselves

    Nice Shady

Plenty of area for dogs to roam among large trees. Some sitting areas available. Owners and dogs were friendly. Provides water and poop stations, yet unfortunately some people not doing their part to clean up after their dogs.

    One of the nicest parks!!

I've been here twice now and it's always clean and shady. Owners are responsible and there is plenty of room for dogs to play. Lots of dogs on the weekends! And plenty of benches to sit on.

    Nice park!

Pretty large fenced in parks for the big and little dogs. There's not a lot of other dogs when I go which is a bummer because it is a nice park! Definitely worth checking it out!
