  Ok But Not Great!

  This park is ok for the most part. I took my puppy in the “small dog” section since there was only one and they didn’t seem to mind us there. Unfortunately the big dog area had some very mouthy dogs that kept barking at my puppy. I could tell one actually wanted to play but can’t say the same about the others. There was a lot of dog poop that was not picked up which sucked since we were running around the whole section playing fetch and chasing him. I’d only go back to play fetch since it’s not too far or crowded.

  Friendly community and gate to divide the park if necessary!

  Nice Shaded Park

  Good sized dog park, with two areas. These are usually kept open and can be closed if you have a concern your dog is too rough. Nice picnic benches and a lot of trees provide nice shade also has 2 water stations. Great place to come to get away from the upper peninsula fog. Parking right in front of the park. Great dogs and friendly people. Double Bonus!
